The bathroom was a delight with its beautifully designed sink basins and walk-in showers. It made me feel like I was in a luxurious spa, and I couldn't help but relax and pamper myself.
Personally, I found the gift shop a bit unnecessary, but I understand that some guests might enjoy browsing there.

Our stay was pleasant in the midst of the bustling, noisy city center in a working class neighborhood. It was a bit tricky to find the hotel tucked away in a back alleyway, but once inside, the friendly service made us feel at home. The room was cozy and uniquely decorated with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was a highlight, with delicious Moroccan dishes and great coffee. We also enjoyed the rooftop view.
The hot water in the shower did not last long enough for a proper shower.

I had a fantastic experience at Riad La Porte Rouge. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. One specific situation that stood out was when I accidentally left my earrings on the table next to the bed after checking out. I immediately called the Riad and although I was initially disappointed when they said the earrings weren't there, they later contacted me to inform me that they had found them and would be mailing them to me. This level of honesty and dedication truly impressed me.

The service, the staff was really really nice and helpful, the experience is like staying at the home of a friend. The riad is super clean, peaceful and really nice! Also the breakfast is amaizing, fresh juice, fruit, tea, yogurt, bread and some special dish each day. In the nights they put sweets in your room. There is a jacuzzi in the terrace wich is a really beautiful place and a small swimming pool if you want to relax from a long day walk. The bathroom is big and clean, and the room design is really nice! I recommend this riad 100% and i am planning on going back there as well.
The only thing may be the location that is like a 15 min walk to the jmaa fna that is a little hard to walk those 15 min in the summer sun! but in a normal day i think it is quite well located and near to the palace of bahia which is a real jewel!

The decoration of the hotel was absolutely charming, with heavy velvet drapes and traditional lamps that created a magical mood. The common areas were beautifully designed and accessible for senior people. I felt like I was stepping into a different world every time I walked through the doors. The children working there were always ready to assist me and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is if there were more grab bars in the bathrooms.

I recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff were absolutely wonderful and were always there to assist me with any questions or requests I had. They provided valuable recommendations for things to do and made all the necessary arrangements for my activities. Furthermore, the hotel's location in a charming neighborhood added to the unique ambiance of my stay. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel also offered a wide range of services, including room service, car hire, and laundry, ensuring that all of my needs were met.
In terms of location, this hotel is tucked away in a quiet alley, which may not be the ideal setting for everyone. However, the hotel's exceptional service and luxurious accommodations more than make up for its off-the-beaten-path location.

I loved the authenticity of this hotel's interior design. The traditional Moroccan decor was stunning and made me feel like I was really experiencing the culture of this city. The hotel facilities were also great, including a lovely heated pool on the rooftop and a Bedouin tent to relax in. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, providing me with all the information I needed to navigate this noisy and busy city. Plus, the hotel was located in the new part of the city, making it easy to reach popular tourist destinations either on foot or by tourist bus.
Not one thing.

Fabulous time at the Riad La Porte Rouge, Karen and all the staff were friendly and were always there to help with trips and advice. The Riad was beautiful and the breakfast served on the roof terrace was included in the price was very enjoyable and different every day. Great Location not to far from the centre of the Souks, you could walk (15-20 mins) or take a taxi for around £1 - £2. Definately recommend this Riad.
The 15 euros to the hotel from the airport is expensive it costs 50 dhrms about 5. As there is no alcohol in Marrakesh it is very expensive and very difficult to buy so take some duty free if you like a drink.
